I started on Apple devices (the SE model) in the mid 1980s. I moved over to Microsoft DOS and Windows soon after due to the availability and affordability of hardware and software but in 2012, whilst working with students, I noticed that 80% of the machines in the room were Apple, I had to learn about them again so I could experience the same as my students. So I bought an Apple MacBook Pro, installed Microsoft Windows on it with Parallels thinking that I’d still need it, and didn’t look back. I am now completely Apple based. I still enjoy tinkering with Windows and Android and I still have Microsoft Windows installed with Parallels but I rarely use it day-to-day. Take a look at my experience with Apple devices.
